On Friday 8 November Richmond School held their Gala Celebration. We were celebrating and thanking our community for all their support over the years. Richmond school has been open since 1872-2013 and this school is 138 years old. It used to be across the road by the park before it moved to this site.
The gala was held at Richmond School, my school. We got to set up the tables, chairs and the food. My friend and I got to help our Principal out with the hard work.
A lot of people came to the gala we found out that there were two people there that came to this school when they were little and they could't believe how much the school had changed from there.
At the gala everything was free and at that gala we had a huge bouncy castle there were two entries and two exits the huge bouncy castle was like a rase corce but it was fun when you got in.
There was a ride were you could drive a little jeep around in a oveverle it was scarey when got stared but when I got moving it was pretty cool and the cheapskate that I was way to scared to do and the ceepskate had skateboards, ramps and skates. The food at the gala was for free to there was bacon butties, meat pattie sandwich, sausage sizzle, coffee, tea, juice, water, muffins, fruit pottes, fruit, candy floss, pop corn and ice blocks.
