Our sharing

This term we have been talking a lot about sharing. It starts with me then I tell my friends and family then I tell the school which then goes to the community then it's New Zealand then the Pacific. Our sharing is apart of our RISE focus this year. We have been sharing our money with good courses.

My school and I dressed up for the VSA dress for change day. Because we have shared, others can take action by volunteering their skills in other countries. We dressed up in our favourite costume or clothes and we brought a gold coin for project friendship to help our friends across the pacific.

 We all donated generously on red noes day as well. Because we have shared our  resource, our money, we are helping other children get the medical treatment they need to get better.

 On daffodil day, we raised $ 67 and we all dressed in yellow. I feel good that we have donated my pocket money and my friends are so happy that we have helped out.

Music time

Hello, it's me again. Today I'm going to talk about our music lessons here at school. This term we have been learning how to play the ukulele our teachers name is Paul. We have a twenty minute lesson every Friday morning.

Today we are going to have a concert to show our parents how well we are doing. The concert is going to be held in the library. I feel really nervous and excited as well.

Our fitness program

Hi it's me again I'm going to talk about our fitness programme. At this school we do a fun fitness routine called Jump Jam. In this fitness programme where we do some fast dance moves to the music. We do it every day after morning break on the court outside the library. The whole school does it together. We exercise to two or three songs each day. In every dance, song and move you can have some awsome fun while getting fit.

 In cross country the year six and year five have to do four laps then the year four and year threes do three laps around the field. We like our fitness programme because it's fit and healthy fun that everyone can enjoy .

Hello my name is Jakita and welcome to my blog. I am eleven and I was born in Christchurch . I have three best friends their names are Hannah, Salote and Ashleen and I'm a girl . I have one sister, one brother and a niece . My favourite colour is red, black and purple and my favourite food is ice cream. I go to a local school. My favourite place is at the beach, when it's sunny . I have five cousins that I know of and I live with my dad and I go to my mums when it's the weekends or holidays .
